This 4th… Let Your Freedom Ring

Independence Day. Martin Luther King said, “From every mountainside… Let freedom ring.” Indeed our uniqueness is rooted in this very concept. Let freedom ring!I would ask you on this day to consider this. What might freedom suggest, offer each of us in addition of Dr. King’s declaration.Think about the Fourth of July as the day you free yourself of personal burdens that may limit your personal freedom.Worry… financial strain… challenging relationships… family strife… self confidence… career indecision. Over commitment. So many burdens we have the capacity to free ourselves of.Freedom “ringing” implies a sweet sound we can all hear. Indeed the freedoms we are enjoy give us choices afforded nowhere else. Make our lives ring. But how meaningful, valuable are these freedoms without the freeing of ourselves of the challenges cited above and more. So key to enjoying the freedoms we are all blessed with?So on this Independence Day… make a commitment to take an inventory. What are the burdens you would like to, need to shed… rid yourself of?To refresh, begin anew. As I always tell the amazing people I am privileged to coach. There are those that “do” and those that “don’t.”Be the latter. This Fourth of July. Make your freedom ring.
