“What a Coincidence!”

I hear this a lot. You too? “Oh, what a coincidence!” You know the person you see in the grocery store you were just thinking about. That phone call that came from someone you haven’t heard from in years. What coincidences! I got a call from an old acquaintance earlier this week who I really never knew. But I knew of him. A good guy as I remember. Remembered he had married the sister of a girl I had dated through high school and college. Coveted actually. He had gotten on Facebook. Visits it infrequently. We weren’t “friended.” My Blog, this one, popped up. Huh? “Where’d that come from?” he thought. He started reading. Not a guy to do this kind of thing often. He sent an email to … a stranger. Me.“I can’t explain this, he wrote, but…”My reaction? “ “What a coincidence?” No. I smiled. It’s simply happened again.

So this guy got on Facebook. Where in God’s name did that blog come from?! Ah hah… This was a connection between two aligned energies. Energy. Not coincidence.You see this kind of thing happens to me frequently every day. How does it happen. Don’t fully know. But my coach has taught me about the “energy V” that we all have access to. Your “V” can be closed or open. Depends on how much you love yourself … choose to love others. Optimism. Yes. Thinking good thoughts. Well, yeah. But it’s not quite that simple.The openness of your “V” depends mostly on how intensely you “feel” Truly feel. Happiness, sadness, anger. All human emotions.

But. There is a difference between getting emotional and truly feeling. Those I coach tell me. “I feel” me. “No you get emotional. You don’t really feel.” Most of us don’t. I didn’t. I do now. My “energy V” is very open today. Because I feel. Intensely. Drives Nancy nuts at times. I’m open to receive energy messages. Like the connection with this acquaintance. Or like the guy I sat next to at dinner the other night. “Hello, I said.” Intruding a little bit while he was sipping his cocktail. (It all begins with hello by the way.) Another blog on this later. Somehow we got talking about personal growth. Authors we “coincidentally” had read on the subject. His passion. Hmm. Mine too. Just another one of those energy connections.

How? Well… we all send energies out into space every day. If you truly “feel”? Your energies will be electric. Seek others. Find them. Connect. Hard to grasp? Voodoo? Ok. It took me some time to open my “V.” Sorry… how did I open so wide here? Too much for this piece. Maybe for another time. But the bottom line. At least according to me. There are no coincidences. Only connections of energy… those sent from my open “V” to others. And them responding in return. Oh, those with closed “Vs?”will connect too. Just much less often. By the way. That acquaintance above who stumbled on my blog? We got on the phone. We talked. And talked. Common interests, experiences. A myriad of them. He agreed. Our energies had connected. We had both chosen to receive. Our energies brought my Blog up. As weird as that seemed. We are… well. Really? Now friends. What fun.
